Checklist

What do you need for your Video Consultation (VC)?

  • A well-lit, quiet and suitable environment
  • Internet-enabled device (eg: smartphone, tablet, computer) with camera and speaker
  • Zoom application on your device
  • Have your NRIC to show the doctor (or NRIC of patient – for care-givers assisting your family)
  • Prepare home readings of your blood pressure, blood sugar (if applicable) and weight prior to the session

* We regret that we may not be able to proceed with the VC if the above conditions are not met. If so, you may cancel the VC by contacting 66436969 to request alternative forms of consultation.

Joining the Video Consultation

  • If you have not received your Zoom Meeting ID and PIN details, please contact 6643 6969 for assistance no later than 1 working day before your Video Consult appointment.
  • Login to your Zoom app 5 minutes before your appointment
  • Contact 66436969 if you encounter any technical issues with logging in
  • Enter your Zoom Meeting ID and PIN which you have received via SMS a few days prior
  • When using Zoom, kindly key in your (patient’s) FULL NAME, and ensure you have on your audio and video so your Dr can see and hear you
  • You will then be directed to wait in a virtual ‘waiting room’ before the doctor starts your session

Post Video Consultation

  • Your doctor will arrange a follow up for the subsequent appointment
  • Payment: The preferred mode of payment is via Mobile Pay
  • Results: You may access your results via HealthBuddy App / HealthHub
  • Medications delivery: The medications will be delivered to you after receipt of payment. You will receive a phone or zoom video call with the pharmacy for tele-dispensing of the medications

For conditions that cannot be safely assessed on VC, you may be advised to seek face-to-face medical attention for further assessment.

In an emergency situation, you may be advised to seek emergency medical attention at the Accident and Emergency department.
