About Doctor

Lok Pui is a family physician by training, currently serves as Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Clinical Services) of SingHealth Polyclinics (SHP) and the Director, Primary Care (Polyclinic) of the Family Medicine Academic Medicine Program Duke NUS. She is a Family Physician with the Family Physicians Accreditation Board and a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians Singapore. 

Lok Pui’s journey in public health has largely been driven by her firm belief in providing good and holistic patient care and promoting a nurturing and safe environment for staff to work and develop. She is passionate about preventive care with contributions at SHP as the Clinical Lead of the Preventive Care Workgroup, and later the key driver for Healthier SG implementation which focused on moving care upstream as a national health strategy, at SHP. She is also involved in the envisioning and planning of the longer- term screening landscape with MOH and the Regional Health System. Lok Pui has also been actively involved in the strategic planning and review of care delivery model at SHP, in the face of the national challenges of increasing healthcare demand and expenditure. She led the development of My Care Team, SHP’s team- based care model, providing continuing and holistic care for SHP patients in a proactive and coordinated manner, setting the direction for a more efficient, effective and sustainable care delivery model. 

As a Family Physician leader, Lok Pui believes in giving back and nurturing the next generation of family physicians, preparing them for future challenges and inspiring them to contribute to Singapore’s healthcare development.
