Dr Lim Hwee Boon

Dr Lim is a Family Physician, Senior Consultant at SingHealth Polyclinics.
She currently holds the administrative appointment of Assistant Director of Quality Management.
The responsibilities include oversight of areas of quality assurance (includes Ensure Safer System) and improvement, safety and risk, and patient experience (Patient Relations). 

In her administrative role, Dr Lim strives to

• Build institutional capacity and culture in quality and safety
• Be an advocate to drive quality care and patient safety
• Mentor others and be a role model in the domain of quality and safety

Besides her administrative role, she is also practicing at SingHealth Polyclinics –Marine Parade Polyclinic
As a Family physician, she recognizes her role & responsibilities:

• To keep abreast of medical knowledge for quality and safe patient care
• To train and mentor the next generation of family physicians

Prior to her appointment at Head Office, Dr Lim had served as Clinic Director at SHP-Marine Parade.

Dr Lim has been also actively teaching in areas of Quality & Safety at Singhealth (IPSQ) and at SHP.
She has also served as examiner for the Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) Examinations.
