Dr Koh Kim Hwee is currently the Director Regional Clinical Services (North East) in SingHealth Polyclinics (SHP). He has been in clinical practice since 2007 and has served in several academic leadership roles. He was the first deputy clinic director of Punggol Polyclinic when it was commissioned in Nov 2017. As the Clinic Director of Pasir Ris Polyclinic from 2019-2025, he lead the clinic through the Covid-19 pandemic and also commissioned the redeveloped polyclinic which opened in Oct 2024. When HSG was implemented in 2023, he was also the lead for right siting workstream of the SHP HSG implementation team. He is also the lead for SHP Epic migration workstream that is in charge of system and data requirements. As a medical educator, he has previously served as Clinical Core Faculty Member of SingHealth Family Medicine Residency Program and Cohort Program Director of the College of Family Physician Fellowship Program (FCFPS). Dr Koh is still actively involved in teaching and is currently Clinical Assistant Professor of Duke-NUS Medical School. He also serves as examiner for the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine, MMed (Family Medicine) and FCFPS program.
Dr Koh is currently also practicing as a Senior Consultant, Family Medicine Specialist in SingHealth Polyclinics. He was awarded the SingHealth HMDP Fellowship in 2019 to pursue the training of Management of Musculoskeletal Pain in Primary Care in United Kingdom. He is currently involved in multiple workgroups and committees at SingHealth cluster and MOH level. He also received the GCEO Outstanding Clinician Award in 2024 which provided recognition to his clinical care to his patients and contributions to the organisation as a clinician leader.
