The Integrated Maternal and Child Wellness Hub is a SingHealth Polyclinics programme that supports the health and well-being of mothers and young children. Located at selected polyclinics, it provides screenings during immunisation and developmental assessments for both mothers and children. The screenings cover child development, growth and nutrition, as well as maternal emotional health.
Acknowledgements to Temasek Foundation and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital for the pivotal support provided in starting the programme from 2019.
Our Polyclinics that currently offer the IMCWH services are: Bedok, Punggol, Sengkang, Tampines.
What is included in this programme?
- Timely screening and interventions for developmental delays, autism and weight issues for children.
- Enhanced support for breastfeeding and weaning advice for mothers
- Postnatal depression screening and timely referral for mothers
- Providing age-appropriate education and support on childhood development and nutrition for children
