Please refer to table of charges for Singapore citizens of other age groups, permanent residents and foreigners.

With effect from 30 June 2015, first time visits are subject to an Examination and Diagnosis(E&D) fee. Upon completion of dental treatment plan, E&D fee shall also be charged at subsequent visits e.g. 6 month or 9 month or 1 year visit. A review fee may be charged during dental treatment plan when a consultation* has been done.

*Determined on a case-by-case basis.

If your treatment is split into multiple visits, you will be charged accordingly per visit based on the treatment done in that visit.

The dental clinics operate on an appointment system to reduce the waiting time at the clinic for patients. Please arrive 15 minutes before appointment time for registration. You can make, change or cancel your appointment by calling 6643 6969.

Do note that patients who are more than 20 minutes late will have their appointment rescheduled.

We will attend to dental emergencies such as bleeding from extraction, facial swelling, intense pain (arising from advanced tooth decay or other conditions) and trauma.

For urgent/emergency treatment, please call 6643 6969 or email singhealthpolyclinics@singhealth.com.sg.

Emergency dental services are also available at

  • National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS)
The waiting time for a First Appointment at NDCS varies by specialty and the number of specialists available each day. You may wish to contact NDCS at 6324 8802 for more information.
  • SGH's Department of Emergency Medicine (A&E)
  • National University Hospital (NUH)

Alternatively, you may consider CHAS Dental Clinics, which also provide subsidised dental services. Please click here for more information.

We will provide you the earliest appointment slot available. Each clinic has a different waiting period. The waiting period for appointments are longer than usual due space constraints and the time taken for each dental treatment. Do book your appointment early if you wish to visit our dental clinic.

You can make, change or cancel your appointment by calling 6643 6969.

If you are under the age of 18, you are to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian* for your first dental visit, and for every visit requiring tooth extraction or cost intensive procedures e.g. Pulpectomy, Root Canal Treatment, Crown, Dentures.

Please note that your parent or legal guardian will be required to sign a consent form before these treatments begin.

*Legal guardians are required to show documentary proof.

We have fixed durations (e.g. 30 mins) for our appointments.  If necessary, your treatment may be split into multiple visits depending on your oral condition.

To better serve our patients, SHP Dental is expanding our range of dental services. SHP Dental now provides simple crowns, simple dentures (replacing 5 teeth or less), denture repairs, simple root canal treatment (front teeth) and simple pulpectomy treatment.

Cases suitable to be done in the polyclinic are determined on a case-by-case basis. Any of the cases deemed to be more complex would be referred to tertiary institutions.

We are unable to provide referral letters without first doing a consultation i.e. Examination and DIagnosis (E&D). Sometimes, X-rays may be required.

If you are a CHAS card holder AND your private dentist is from a registered CHAS clinic, they can refer you directly to NDCS or NUCOHS for subsidized dental services.

You do not need a polyclinic referral letter for the subsidized services.

For more information on CHAS subsidies, please click here.

Medical Certificates are normally given after dental procedures where the patient is unfit to work (e.g. tooth extractions or surgery). For other treatments (e.g. Scaling & Polishing, Fillings), a Time Chit would be provided upon request.

Presently, SingHealth Polyclinic does not share the same records as other healthcare groups. If this is your first dental appointment in a SingHealth Polyclinic, Examination and Diagnosis (E&D) would be done in the first visit with E&D fee applicable.
