PRIME ("PRImary care Medical Education") is the training arm of SingHealth Polyclinics (SHP). It oversees, plans and provides training and workshops for healthcare professionals of all categories. Our training activities include attachments, formal programmes and continuing professional development teaching sessions.
SHP is one of four accredited Family Medicine training centre in Singapore. It conducts undergraduate and postgraduate training in Family Medicine as well as continuing professional education for doctors, nurses and pharmacists, both local and overseas undergraduates. The SHP Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Programme & Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation + Automated External Defibrillation (CPR+AED) Programme are accredited by the National Resuscitation Council. SHP organizes resuscitation classes for both healthcare workers and members of the public.
