About Doctor

Dr Wong is a Family Physician and Senior Consultant with SingHealth Polyclinics. Dr Wong practices Family Medicine in Punggol Polyclinic, and has interest in Chronic Disease Management, Diabetes Care, Community Geriatric Care and Preventive Health. 

Dr Michael Wong is the Group Director of SingHealth RHS overseeing the population health strategic direction of SingHealth RHS with its various sites, domains and enabler directors.

He has been active in policy and strategic planning and execution in the regional health and community space. He plays a pivotal role in strengthening partnerships with care providers in both public and private sectors to deliver integrated hospital to community care to patients.  A healthcare veteran of over 25 years, Dr Wong has extensive public healthcare experience and has a deep understanding as well as considerable insights into the healthcare eco-system. He is fully committed to building communities of care in SingHealth RHS, translating policies to programs and strategies into services, impacting families and helping individuals to keep well, get well and live well. 

Dr Wong is one of the key persons involved in SingHealth@Home program, which delivers hospital-level care to patients in their own homes.

He is currently representing SingHealth in various committees working with MOH and the other health clusters to strategize and implement various initiatives under our national Healthier SG, Age Well SG and Grow Well SG.
