Dr Swah Teck Sin is a Senior Consultant in Family Medicine, managing a wide range of ambulatory conditions seen in Primary Care.
He has held various administrative positions in MOH and SingHealth Polyclinics. He is now devoted to clinical teaching medical students at Duke-NUS, and postgraduate clinicians. He is a member of Family Medicine Examination Committee and is an examiner for GDFM and MMED.
Besides Family Medicine, he takes a keen interest in medical law and ethics and he has been actively teaching clinical ethics. He is a member of the Medical Advisory Panel under Ministry of Home Affairs. He is appointed as a Council member of the SingHealth Ethics Network. He is a member of Complaints Committee, Singapore Medical Council and is an Associate Mediator in Singapore Mediation Centre. He holds the appointment as Head, Medical Affairs at SHP and manages potential medico-legal issues.
