Dr Kang Chun-Yun Gary

After graduating from NUS Medical School in 2006, Dr Gary Kang attained his Master of Medicine in Family Medicine in 2013. In 2018, he was admitted as a Fellow of the College Family Physicians Singapore as well as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore. He also obtained an MBA from NTU’s Nanyang Business School in 2020.

He had worked in multiple surgical and medical specialty postings before settling in as a Family Physician in Singhealth Polyclinics in April 2012.

As the Director of Regional Clinical Services (North East), he understands the complex interplay of processes that keep our big government clinics running and our patients safe while enjoying excellent healthcare. He is also the Lead of SHP’s Remote Care Workgroup that undertakes the task of transforming medical care with telemedicine.

He is active in educating future generations of doctors in his roles as Physician Faculty in SHP, preceptor in Duke-NUS Medical School and LKC School of Medicine, and supervisor in the Fellowship Program for FCFP(S).
