Who Are We?
SingHealth Polyclinics (SHP) Helping Hands Programme aims to create a positive environment for our patients and caregivers. Our volunteers complement our polyclinic support services to improve patient experience. By engaging and building meaningful partnerships with the community, we also hope to promote active aging and enrich lives through volunteerism.

SHP Helping Hands Programme is supported by the Silver Volunteer Fund (by Council for Third Age).

How Can You Help?
Our volunteers guide and assist patients at various service points in our polyclinics which include:

  • Provide directions and assist patients
  • Accompany patients who are elderly, frail, have mobility issues or need special attention
  • Guide patients on the use of service kiosks and apps
  • Support polyclinics health events and activities

Why Volunteer?
Volunteers play an important role in working together with our polyclinic team to provide good and safe care for our patients. Volunteering can be a great opportunity to:

  • Give back to the community
  • Learn new things
  • Promote personal growth and sense of achievement
  • Make a difference
  • Make new friends and be part of an organisation or community
