Pericardial Effusion

Pericardial Effusion - Symptoms

Some signs of pericardial effusion include:

Chest pain or chest fullness
Difficulty breathing
Discomfort when breathing especially when lying down

However, a patient may not develop any symptoms, especially when the fluid has accumulated slowly.
