Members of the cancer support groups identify themselves with a similar tumor type or have common goal/direction. Most of these support groups are co-led by a volunteer patient leader and a team of healthcare professionals such as medical social worker, nurses and medical physicians. Activities include medical education, health information and psychosocial support.

The thought and fear of cancer recurrence is commonly experienced and is very anxiety provoking for many cancer survivors. While we cannot control whether cancer may return, we can exercise some control over how much this fear of recurrence to lead our lives.
Join our Medical Social Worker, Ms. Eunice Lee, to explore strategies to cope with these fears without having them halting our lives.
