Profile

Dr Tan Yia Swam is a consultant in Breast Surgery at KK Women's and Children's Hospital. Dr Tan received his medical degree from the National University School of Medicine in 2004. She received her specialist training at Singapore General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and National University Hospital.

She is interested in education, and has conducted sessions and talks with medical students, doctors, nurses and the public. She is also active in the Singapore Medical Association, having been a council member since 2007, and now serving as the editor of the official newsletter.
