Profile

Clin Asst Prof Park Joon Jae is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Urology at Changi General Hospital. He graduated from Bart’s and The London School of Medicine, Queen Mary University of London in 2006 and subsequently completed the United Kingdom’s Foundation Year programme before moving to Singapore in 2008. He went on to complete his Basic Surgical Training and Advance Surgical Training in Urology in 2010 and 2015 respectively.  During this time, he became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

In 2018, he completed a one-year Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) fellowship in Functional and Reconstructive Urology at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals under the NHS Foundation Trust in the UK. Apart from being proficient in numerous general urological conditions, including but not limited to urinary tract stones, urological cancers and erectile dysfunction, he also manages  urethral stricture disease, overactive bladder (OAB), urinary incontinence, neuro-urology and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) – including Thulium or Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate. 

Dr Park has a special interest in research, innovation and undergraduate/postgraduate surgical education, and speaks English, Spanish and Korean.
