Profile

Dr. Iqbal is a pathologist at Singapore General Hospital in the department of histopathology. He obtained his MBBS degree from Dhaka Medical College in Bangladesh. He completed a four-year anatomical and clinical pathology residency training in USA and was certified by the American Board of Pathology in 2006. He has completed one year fellowship training in oncologic pathology at Roswell Park Cancer institute and another fellowship in hematopathology. He also obtained a PhD in molecular biology from Allegheny University of health Sciences (Philadelphia, PA).

Dr. Iqbal’s clinical and research interests include molecular and pathological aspects of hematological and breast malignancies. He has also authored several scientific articles in different peer-reviewed journals.
