A/Prof. Liew is a Senior Consultant (Geriatric Psychiatrist) and Clinician Scientist at Singapore General Hospital, specializing in the care of older patients with memory and mental health issues. He is the co-Lead of the Ageing and Population Health Research Peak at Singapore General Hospital and an Associate Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School.

With an interest in public health research, particularly in ageing and brain health, A/Prof. Liew has published extensively and holds ongoing research grants in these fields.  His research integrates behavioral and data science to develop innovative solutions for complex healthcare challenges. Beyond his research and clinical responsibilities, he actively contributes to the academic community as an editorial board member for the journals of BMC Geriatrics and Healthcare.
