"I joined Ang Mo Kio-Thye Hua Kwan Hospital four years ago and I've been helping patients affected by injury or disease to regain their mobility and independence.

I'm glad I made the choice to join healthcare because I get to make a difference in my patients' lives every day, even if it's in a small way.

Each time I approach my patients, I smile and tell them that I'm here to help. I may not always understand what they are saying but the first step is always to listen to them.

Caregivers shouldn't have to compromise their health and well-being while taking care of their loved ones. I teach them exercises to strengthen their lower back so that they don't strain their back while helping patients move out of bed."
