The official opening of Sengkang General Hospital (SKH) and Sengkang Community Hospital (SKCH) was announced by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at SKH Campus' Official Opening event held last Saturday, 23 March 2019. In his speech, PM Lee emphasised on Singapore's need to keep healthcare spending sustainable – such as by having the integrated SKH Campus that operates as a single entity and adopts a patient-centric and multi-disciplinary approach. The campus currently operates about 500 acute and 150 community hospital beds.
