SHP Creates Greater Awareness of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

~ A collaboration with SGH Life Support Training Center to equip the public with
the life-saving skill ~

When a person suddenly collapses in front of you, what do you do? How do you revive him or her? What are life-saving techniques? Because what you do, can save a life.

SingHealth Polyclinics put a skit at all its nine polyclinics from 27 September to 1 October 2007 in a bid to raise greater awareness of the importance of learning CPR, in conjunction with the National Heart Week and World Heart Day (Sunday, 30 September 2007).

SingHealth Polyclinics will be collaborating with Singapore General Hospital Life Support Training Center to provide CPR training lessons to the general public. In the long run, SHP will step up the number of training sessions, with the objective of empowering a higher proportion of the population with basic CPR skills.
