SHP Medical Pedagogy
To be effective trainers, our healthcare educators need to be familiar with concepts of learning, and the various methods of teaching. Over the years, our trainers have reflected and learnt how to train healthcare workers in the various settings, and they will share their expertise through this workshop.
Programme
This pedagogy workshop aim to equip our new trainers with the necessary skills to conduct teaching in primary healthcare settings. “Pedagogy” is derived from a Greek word, which translated means “ the art and science of teaching “. In this 2 half-day workshop program , topics covered will include theories of learning and teaching, planning a curriculum, structuring a lesson plan and practical tips on how to conduct teaching in various scenarios.
