SHP Director of Nursing, Ms Gwee Pek Hoon, received the President's Award for Nurses from President SR Nathan at the Istana on Nurses Day, 1 August 2007. The Award honours Ms Gwee's strong commitment and her remarkable contribution to the nursing profession and the community.
The other 2 President's Award recipients were Ms Tracy Carole Ayre, Deputy Director of Nursing at SGH and Ms Elaine Ng Kim Choon, Senior Nurse Clinician at CGH.
